Just after 10:00, and I have been up since 6:00 (after going down at 2:00 last night!). Great day. I've now written some 40 pages, so the book will probably end up being 100 pages in small format. I've said a lot, but need to seriously edit it, and add another 10 pages or so of my actual plan:
1. Balanced Budget Amendment.
2. Balance Budget now.
3. Flat National Sales Tax - 10% to be decreased 1% per year to 5% in 5 years. No deductions.
Recommend similar to all levels of government (starting at 5%, decreasing 1/2% to 2 1/2% in 5 years).
Optional local fast offering to charity of choice. Tax all Internet sales. Illegals now pay same as every- one else. Sales Tax at every level (20% total now, reduced to 10% in 5 years). Abolish IRS now.
4. Opt out to all who wish in lieu of vote.
5. Repeal Health Care Bill. Replace with Tort Reform and Open Insurance Market.
6. Repeal Financial "Reform" Bill.
7. Term Limits: 2-3 yr. for Congress; 2-3 yr. for Senate; 1-4 yr. Administration; 2-4yr. for President.
Total Government Service Limit - 24 years.
8. Divest Federal Government of all corporations.
9. Build fence similar to Israel's. Enforce AZ-like (Federal) Immigration law nationwide.
10.Audit the Federal Reserve and recommend replacement only for legitimate functions.
11.Marriage Amendment.
12.Grant Congress greater authority over stays of judicial "legislation," and allow removal of activist judges.
Simple plan. My real plan is to speak the truth, with conviction and authority, i.e., to lead.
